The Dunnellon Boomtown Historic District was designated on December 8th, 1988. The historic district’s border is defined by McKinney Ave., Illinois St., Pennsylvania Ave., and Cedar St.

There are 70 historic buildings in Dunnellon’s Boomtown Historic District. Some have been renovated and opened to the public as
quaint shops offering antiques, art, and other unique finds.
