We are excited to announce our newest community event! You are cordially invited to become a sponsor at DUNNELLON DAZE on October 8th, 2022, from 11-3 p.m. The event will be held at the Holy Faith Campus Grounds to raise funds for Dunnellon Community Services. There will also be a service to recognize first responders starting at 10:00 a.m. to be held in the Holy Faith Sanctuary.
Dunnellon Community Services (DCS) was formed last year to meet spiritual, physical, medical, material, and educational needs of the people in Dunnellon! Last year we were able to hold a free medical clinic that helped serve many families’ dental, medical and legal needs. With so much demand for these services in our community, The Dunnellon Community Services can expand its services to include a medical mobile unit to remotely care for those in need and to better serve our community.
DCS is inviting local businesses to get involved by donating sponsorship funds or in-kind donations for prizes to give away in raffles and more. See the sponsor form enclosed. No gift is too small. Plus, all businesses that have given sponsorship or in-kind prizes will get the coverage as noted on the attached sponsor form based on the level of giving. The event will be all things Dunnellon. We have also planned for food and beverages from local food truck companies with both Latin and barbeque food planned. The church of the Holy Faith’s food pantry will also be taking donations for ice pops and popcorn to those visiting.
Entertainment planned includes the karate kids’ performances, Dave “Elvis” Atkins, Antique Cars, a petting zoo, prizes, raffle tickets and more! We are looking for organizations to secure their booth/location plus get sponsorships to help raise fund for our medical mobile unit. We received private funding for a medical truck– now we are working on getting the needed supplies to serve the community.
Dunnellon Community Services is a 501(C)3, (IEN 87-1551612). Enclosed please find a sign-up form. We have also included a donation and sponsorship form for those looking to help more and donate to this excellent cause. Please consider getting involved in our community event. It will be great for everyone involved and we hope to better inform everyone of the great services our community has to offer.
