Rainbow River Swim Club September 2023

Looking for nice cooler water to swim during the hot summer hours?

The weather should be really nice for swimming and enjoying the beautiful water of Rainbow River.

Remember this is a downstream swim, no turns, just swim straight all the way down until you see me and the giant duck “BETO”, let the current take you, the distance is close to 3.5 miles. The water temperature is a constant 72 degrees all year round! Enjoy it! 🙂

Get to the park around 7:15 AM the park entry fee is $7 and make sure you check with their VIP Parking which is $25 and you have to make a reservation.

If you would like to park at Swampys Grill located at 19773 E Pennsylvania Ave Dunnellon, FL 34431 for $5
I can pick you up there and bring you to the park so you don’t have to worry about the crowds. Remember, swampys is where you finish your swim.
I’ll be picking up starting at 7:00 and the last group there at 7:45 AM

we will start swimming as a group no later than 8:45 AM. Remember to keep your social distance, there is plenty of room for that. If you are planning on swimming upstream, please let me know.

The contribution will remain the same $20 to cover gas, van rental, time, donation to Florida Spring Council, etc, easy just PayPal to owsleo11@gmail.com.
